Dual Inspector – NACE CIP / AWS CWI

About the Role

Seeking experienced Dual Inspectors holding both NACE/AMPP Coating Inspection Program (CIP) and AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certifications for upcoming pipeline and facility construction projects across the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Perform coating inspection per NACE/AMPP standards including surface prep, application, and DFT verification
• Conduct welding inspection activities including pre-weld, in-process, and post-weld examination per AWS and applicable project specifications
• Review and interpret welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welder qualification records
• Document daily inspection activities, NCRs, and field reports in compliance with client and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with project management, QC teams, and contractors to ensure work meets code and spec
• Travel to project sites within the Southeast region as required

Qualifications

• Active NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1 required; Level 2 preferred
• Active AWS CWI certification required
• Minimum 3–5 years of field inspection experience in pipeline, midstream, or facility construction
• Familiarity with API, ASME, and DOT standards a plus
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
