Planner/Scheduler – Owner's Site Team (Short-Term Assignment)
Location: Salt Lake City
Duration: Approx. 1–3 months
Schedule: ~50 hrs/week (including weekly commute if applicable)
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
We are seeking a Planner/Scheduler at an active industrial project nearing substantial completion. This is a short-term, on-site assignment focused on transitioning the project from construction completion into the punch list, warranty, and general operations phase.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update schedules for punch list and warranty work
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to track remaining scope to completion
- Monitor and report on punch list status, close-out progress, and outstanding items
- Support day-to-day scheduling and coordination of general site operations
- Provide regular schedule updates, look-aheads, and risk flags to the Owner's team
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking logs related to close-out activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Planner/Scheduler on EPC, industrial, or heavy civil construction projects
- Experience supporting project close-out, punch list, or warranty phases preferred
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Able to work full-time on-site in
- Willing to commute weekly if not local to the area
