Construction Manager (Field) – Utility-Scale BESS

Location: Texas (On-site)

Duration: 8–10 Month Contract - Start ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Field Construction Manager to oversee on-site activities for a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Texas. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and keeping the project on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee field execution of all construction activities related to the BESS installation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate updates to the project team and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning and handover activities as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of field construction management experience, preferably on energy or utility-scale projects.
• BESS construction experience is required.
• Substation construction experience is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to manage field teams, schedules, and site logistics.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and QA/QC procedures.
