Dual Inspector — CWI & NACE | Field-Based | Travel Required

Position Overview

This is a field-based, project-to-project role requiring significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

•     Perform welding inspections per AWS, API, and client-specific standards

•     Conduct coating and corrosion control inspections per NACE/AMPP standards

•     Review welder qualifications, WPS/PQR documentation, and material certifications

•     Inspect surface preparation, coating application, and DFT measurements

•     Document findings, prepare daily reports, and issue NCRs as required

•     Interpret applicable codes including API 1104, ASME B31.8, and SSPC standards

•     Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and client QA/QC teams

Required Qualifications

•     Active AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

•     Active NACE/AMPP coating certification — Level 1, 2, or 3

•     3–5+ years of field inspection experience in pipeline or energy infrastructure

•     Strong knowledge of applicable welding and coating codes and standards

•     Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, isometrics, and specs

•     Valid driver's license; willingness to travel extensively

•     Physical ability to work in field conditions

Preferred Qualifications

•     API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector certification
