Position Overview

Seeking a qualified Electrical Inspector for installation oversight at a compressor station east of Williston. The project involves the installation of two compressors, a high, and an insulator.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all electrical installations to ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes
• Review electrical plans and specifications prior to installation
• Verify proper installation of compressors and associated electrical components
• Conduct thorough inspections of the insulator installation
• Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records
• Identify code violations or safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to resolve issues
• Perform final inspections before system activation
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Valid electrical inspector certification/license
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in electrical inspection, preferably in industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
• Experience with compressor station electrical systems preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude
